Caldwell dominated from the start in avenging an early season tie to Ridgevue by winning tuesday 7-1. The Cougars got a hat trick (3 goals) from Jesus Lechuga and another two goals from Danny Belman in jumping out to a 7-0 lead shortly after halftime. Other goals were scored by Hector Bermudez and Alex Cuevas (his first varsity goal) and assists were logged by Emilio Gonzales (2), Ricky Galvan (2), Carlos Lechuga, Jesus Lechuga and Hector Bermudez. Juan Esparza had the first half shutout in net making two saves while Jevon Olvera finished the game in net the second half making two saves as well. The Cougars remain in first place at 10-1-2 (9-0-2 in conference).
