162-senior sball19

The 19th Annual Moke Strong Canyon County Classic was held this past weekend on the campus of Caldwell High.  This premier track meet, that features schools from Canyon County schools ranging from 1A to 5A, is named after the much-loved and admired teacher, coach, and principal in the Caldwell School District.  Moke Strong spent 27 years in the Caldwell School District where he was a leader and role model for every child.  He took an active interest in each on of his students and encouraged them to utilize their positive attributes.  Best known for his athletic coaching and his strong dedication to youth, Moke was a magnet to kids.  Moke passed in 2001, but his legacy lives on through the stadium that bears his name and the track meet held in his honor.  His legacy is also continued through his children and grandchildren, whom several work and attend Caldwell schools.  Son, Matt, and daughter in-law, Moss, are both administrators in the district.  His granddaughter, Amber, is a teacher and coach at Caldwell High.
